Where You Live Determines What You Should Smell Like

Olfactory Girl

There’s no mistaking a good-smelling woman—the kind whose scent lingers long after she’s gone. The same works for men as well. Hopefully, you never let ‘em see you sweat, but as far as serious smellum, you probably wear whatever was in the free bag of goodies from your freshman year. Now’s the time to consider refining that lasting impression with a little science.

Turns out geography plays a large role in which smells women associate with a desirable mate, according to results from a study led by Axe and a team of research institutes. Since you can’t see smells, we created Smell-O-Vision: a nasal prism which bends images of hot chicks into images of their desirable olfactory sensations based upon geographical location. Who says we didn’t learn anything from Dark Side of the Moon? Here’s hoping Roy G Biv helps you rev her engine.

If you managed to make it all the way through the mind-blowing statistics, good on you, buddy. We have a giveaway for you, courtesy our friends at Axe!

A few rules:

In the comments section below, tell us how your girl likes you to smell. Five commenters will receive kits from Axe, with five deodorants and their corresponding body sprays (in scents Kilo [vanilla], Dark Temptation [coffee], Phoenix [lavender], and Twist [fresh air/rain]).

Giveaway closes Friday, October 15.

Be sure to include a legit e-mail address so we can contact you.

Sorry, U.S. contestants only.

Good luck, smelly dudes.
