IF YOU GREW UP IN THE ’80s THEN YOU KNOW that one of the most recognizable characters on television back in the day was Mr. T from The A-Team. If you grew up in the mid-nineties and beyond, you probably irritate the hell out of the ’80s kids by asking stupid questions like, “Who’s Mr. T?” or “What’s A-Team?” Unfortunately, Hollywood has answered this stupid question by turning every old popular sitcom into a terrible, terrible movie, including The A-Team. But in the case of Mr. T, his revival is something we can get on board with because thankfully, Hollywood wasn’t involved.
Mr. T is still brash, he’s still flashy and he now has his own YouTube channel called “Ask Mr. T” and it’s exactly what we need to help us navigate through our everyday lives. Who needs Dr. Phil’s bald head and paunchy belly when you can have Mr. T’s awesome Mohawk and thick gold chains doling out his wisdom in a straight forward yet slightly threatening manner to the masses?
