Viral Outbreak: Super Mario Bros Theme – Bluegrass Version
If you’re even vaguely familiar with video games, then you no doubt have the Super Mario Bros. theme permanently burned into your memory. You’re used to hearing it rendered in glorious 8-bit bleeps and bloops, but prepare to hear it as you never have before.
The Cleverlys, a bluegrass cover band, take the beloved video game theme and put a surprisingly awesome traditional bluegrass spin on it. Apparently, they’re performing it for some strange magazine we’ve never heard of. We decided to post it here in the hopes that people would actually see it rather than having it languish in obscurity on the YouTube page of some unknown publication. Enjoy!

I want to know why they seem to be playing it in the bathroom. Better acoustics? yeah, probably…but, I’m sure they could have found some place else.
