Soccer Helps Everyone Score

World Cup Condoms

Thanks to the 2010 World Cup, a lot of people are getting lucky in South Africa. It’s been reported that in anticipation of the big game an estimated 1 billion condoms were shipped to the country, and approximately 40,000 sex workers are presumed to be working long hours during the tournament. Best of all, soccer sex fever isn’t limited to the confines of the World Cup’s host city. Rubber sales also surged in Korea after South Korea’s 2-0 win against Greece. Apparently fans were so excited about the victory that they purchased a whopping five times the number of condoms than they did during South Korea’s lame showing in the 2006 World Cup. Who knew soccer was such an aphrodisiac? Goooooooooal!
