Fetish Madness 2011: Round Three

SNIFF FETISH vs. FOOT FETISH

Sniff Fetish Round Three: Unnamed male, Plymouth, England. A surveillance camera at a grocery store in late 2009 caught a balding, middle-aged man sniffing the butt of a 20-year-old male grocery store employee as he stocked high shelves. The man pretended to pick items from nearby shelves as he leaned over for a whiff, at one point making contact with the employee’s pants. He returned the next weekend to do it again.

Foot Fetish Round Three: Unnamed male, 33, Israel. Police arrested a married computer programmer in 2002 after an undercover investigation revealed he had stolen the shoes and socks of at least 14 female co-workers. The police found 205 pairs of women’s shoes hidden in the suspect’s attic. “He would take the keys of his co-workers, make copies and go to their houses when they weren’t home,” a police spokeswoman said. “We also found ladies’ underwear, but mainly it was shoes and socks.” The man was caught after his employer hired a private investigator to pose as a female employee to figure out what was going on.

PANTY FETISH vs. WET FETISH

Panty Fetish Round Three: Diexia Wang, 23, Pennsylvania. Wang, a former University of Pennsylvania student, pleaded guilty in 2009 to five counts of trespassing for stealing panties from the rooms of female students in his dorm. He was arrested in 2007 after a woman returned to her room and found him inside. Investigators collected 35 bras and panties from Wang’s room. He was charged with felony burglary, stalking and harassment but the prosecutor reduced the charges so Wang, who is not a U.S. citizen, would not be deported. He said the victims all agreed deportation was too severe a punishment for stealing underwear.

Wet Fetish Round Three: Michael Crombie, 73, Essex, England. The music tutor was convicted in 2010 of 34 counts of indecency after he had a pupil submerge her head in his bathtub. He insisted it was her idea to perform nude underwater breathing exercises because she wanted to hold longer notes. However, the accused had a hard time explaining why he made eight films, including a “highlights tape,” of the girl with her head in his tub, or why he bought an underwater camera for her to take on vacation.
