Well, we are on the Internet. It’s important to keep that in mind when, in the wake of a major and tragic news story, the jokes start pouring out from every corner of the world wide web. It’s easy to get worked up to unnecessarily angry levels when a celebrity drops a stupid Tweet in the midst of an unfolding disaster and, next thing you know, you’re writing a firmly worded letter to their publicist to express your disgust.

But why bother? Insensitive jokes are one of the pillars of the Internet system. Why get all bent out of shape about them when you could just sit back and enjoy them. Take the above picture, for example. There are about 1,000 shades of wrong and awful going on there, but at the same time, that shit is pretty funny.
