You’ve heard about this Fifty Shades of Grey by now, we assume — it’s been called porn for lonely housewives and other such unappealing things. Every woman, it seems, has to read at least a few pages of it just to see what it’s like. We cannot say we’re all that intrigued — women who are basically unfamiliar with erotica (okay, porn) recommending a book like this is a little bit like your dad asking if you have ever heard “the hip hop.”
Well, that’s harsh, and if this book results in someone, somewhere having more interesting sex then it’s a net win.
But this is not Girlreader or Girlbookclub — it’s Girlwatcher. And for that purpose we are glad to finally have someone reading this annoyingly trendy book in a sexy situation. Here’s Imogen Thomas, a former Miss Wales who went on to do UK Big Brother, reading it poolside in a bikini. Or perhaps pretending to read it — she is photographed in bikinis a lot. Maybe this was just a ploy to get her latest sexy pictures blogged. If so — curses, Thomas, you win again.
