Stop and Smell the Flowers

All of us were spawned by members of the hippie generation, those pie-in-the-sky, peace-and-love ninnies who had such a bullshit view of the world (which made sense, seeing as their whole “perfectly well-off suburban kids dressing up as hobos” schtick was bullshit, too).

When everyone else’s parents applied their hippie-isms to real life, it was beyond lame. But when your mom was inspired by her “stop and smell the flowers” philosophy to actually do so in your backyard (often without wearing a bra) it was beyond awesome—because your mom was hot!
