She’s Pretty: Tera Patrick Is All Over Playboy

Cheeky, playful, and sexy all over, the Playboy mag and TV alum hangs her hat over at TSJ for a little chat about her pics, her fans, and her signature Fleshlight.

The Smoking Jacket: How did you start modeling for Playboy?

Tera Patrick: Playboy was my first TV AND magazine appearance!!! The first TV appearance I ever did was Playboy TV a show called “Sex Court.” I was so nervous!! I did my first test shoot for Playboy magazine in May of 1999. Playboy Studio West was so beautiful — what a great experience!

I went on to do Playboy videos such as “Lusty Latin Ladies,” and host two shows — “NightCalls411″ with Crystal Knight, and my own show “School of Sex.” My dream came true in February 2002 when I was on the cover of Playboy magazine!!!!

TSJ: What’s your favorite Playboy story?

TP: I loved working with Playboy throughout my career. Shooting photos at the Playboy Mansion was always fun — I would channel my inner idol, Marilyn Monroe!!!

TSJ: Tell us about your latest projects?

TP: My first memoir “Sinner Takes All” was published, I have a male enhancement novelty called Fleshlight, my own Ebay store, Of corse my amazing website www.terapatrick.com is going strong!! I will be at the New York , Philidelphia, and Chicago Comic Con Shows, also Sexxxpo Australia in November and Erotica show in New Zealand. I still love to travel and work .

TSJ: What’s the weirdest thing a fan has ever done for you?

TP: Nothing is really “weird” to me! I appreciate my fans, or, as I fondly refer to them, my “fanatics.” My fans show their love in many ways! I’ve had my image tattooed on them, I’ve been serenaded… I guess the weirdest would be a fan insisted on being my ottoman for the day!!

TSJ: WOULD YOU DATE A FAN??

TP: I probably have!!! LOL

TSJ: What else would you be if you weren’t a model/celebrity?

TP: I would have stayed in the medical field. I loved being a nurse or I would have transitioned to doing research. I love science , Biology, anatomy… I’m so fascinated by the human body.

TSJ: Celebrity crushes?

TP: Christian Bale and Charlize Theron.

TSJ: How would someone get your special attention?

TP: Manners. They don’t cost anything. Good manners are so important to me. Men need to learn the balance of being a gentleman /bad boy and women need to balance being a lady/bitch. The balance of both keeps thing exciting and sweet at the same time!

TSJ: How do you like to flirt?

TP: Now I can’t give that secret away!!! Well, know this: If I’m quiet or shy around you it’s because I’m “feeling you with my feelers…” If I like someone I am quiet around them…

TSJ: When does a guy know lady is game?

TP: A woman will be forward!! Guys, if you like a girl and she hasn’t kissed you or gone all the way lets say after three months, MAX six months, chances are you’re in the friend zone!! Women today are so much more confident and forward, so it’s not like the days of “Oh, he has to make the first move”!!

TSJ: Do you get used to being a celebrity?

TP: I’m very humble about my life. I know I’m very blessed. I’ve been working a long time, and every day in my work and home life I am loved and blessed. I live a dream life and have a dream job. Even on a “bad day” I have a lot of gratitude because it could all be gone tommorow. I cherish my family, friends, health and my fans!! I have a great career and life because of my fans and I never forget that!! It’s important to keep your life in perspective:}}}

TSJ: Places you have visited in the past year and how was your experience?

TP: I’ve just come off a tour of Canada! I’m a spokesmodel for the “Everything to do with sex show” And I love working with them! I love Canada!! I filmed a horror movie in Indonesia — I love Asia; Japan is my favorite country to vacation and visit. This year I will tour 10 countries! I’m so excited!!

TSJ: What’s your favorite night out?

TP: One that ends up with me… Ha Ha!! You fill that one in!! (wink)

TSJ: Tell us something interesting about your girlfriends.

TP: My best girlfriend is Charmane Star. We started in the adult business together in 2000, and we’ve been next-door neighbors twice throughout our long friendship. We travel together a lot she’s been my costar in two Teravision movies, “Reign of Tera 1 and 2.”
