Props to Interview magazine today for “Girls Gone Wild,” an article about Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Benson, and Rachel Korine looking yummy and up for trouble in bikinis. We don’t go to Interview that often for bikini pictures, but then, if you want the scoop on a film by director Harmony Korine you have to get it from a source like Interview. You don’t see coverage of Korine, most famous for writing the disturbing 1995 film Kids and writing/directing Gummo, in Maxim or Us Weekly. From the Interview piece:
Korine admits that it might have the most commercial potential of any film he has directed. If so, he owes that largely to his cast: the girls are a major draw.
Umm, duh? The problem with edgy, arty, indie films is not enough of them have young starlets in bikinis (and perhaps hundreds of extras wearing same) — just think how much more appealing Wim Wenders’ catalog would be if it contained more flicks about roving packs of nubile coeds.
In addition to this handful of photos from Interview, you’ll also enjoy the candids of Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens riding scooters and some shots from the set of Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Benson robbing a restaurant wearing ski masks and Daisy Dukes. As you do. Those come from Celebuzz.
