Here’s a subject we haven’t touched on in a little while — the appeal of the sexy model who gets behind the camera and shoots other sexy models. Lady photographers are hot to begin with — there’s a tradition going from the old school like Bunny Yeager and Suze Randall to recent ones like Ellen Stagg and Suze’s daughter Holly Randall.

When the photographer has been a model herself that seems to crank it up another notch — we love the thought of actual Playboy models Lisa Boyle, Cherie Roberts, and Krystle Lina wielding the lens.

Eh, maybe it’s the assumption that the photographers shooting are just as scantily clad as the models. Bikini babes shooting bikini babes. Nudity photographing nudity. That could be it.

And that could be a false assumption. It could be that when Krystle Lina wears baggy sweats when she shoots her friend Kristen DeLuca, who is naked (that’s her up top). Maybe the mild lesbian overtones we ascribe to the situation aren’t there. It could be totally professional and clinical and not really that hot (beyond the fact that Kristen is naked).

Not too shabby, right? Better than the usual, which is a bearded guy wearing a vest of many pockets and a bandana doo-rag. (Why do photographers always wear that, anyway?)
