In 1990, Juila Roberts became a household name after her portrayal of the kind-hearted prostitute Vivian in Pretty Woman. Everyone in the world went wild for her in that red opera dress, but that look was nothing new to those of us who had the pleasure of getting an eyeful of your mom on a regular basis.

When she would step out in that form-fitting crimson number (which she did often, much to the delight of all your friends) no woman could hold a candle to her—least of all some overrated actress with the most annoying laugh ever.

To this day, people still believe that the sexiest lady in red came to us from Hollywood. But all the guys on our block knew better, because your mom was hot!
