He Wanted to Be a Playboy (So He Took Lots of Pictures of Naked Girls)

WITH HIS QUARTER-LIFE-AND-A-BIT LIFE CRISIS LOOMING, photographer Giovanni Lipari wanted to live out the dream of being “the ‘jet-setting playboy’…like James Bond, Hugh Hefner, Terry Richardson and Helmut Newton,” he says in his artist’s statement on his blog, The Death of Youth, adding that in the process of photographing 100 hot indie women, he “embodied the life of today’s version of these playboys: the blog-centric photographer, the archetype of a sexual icon.” Growl.

After producing the project, he realized that “by shooting numerous women and interacting with them on a personal level, I proved to myself that this fantasy is easily manufactured when one has enough will-power and money to sustain [the] lifestyle…”

Does that mean these women are or aren’t his girlfriends?

Whatever went down in these hotel rooms, the results are awesome. Here are a couple of the SFW pics we could publish. A recurring image we love = the whole open jacket/unbuttoned sweater thing. Visit Lipari’s blog to access the real deal, first-person style.
