Tennis (and Sundresses) Anyone?

When we were young, most kids our age hated Labor Day because it meant summer was over and it was time to go back to school. Your friends, however, looked forward to it, because your mom was a huge tennis fan. She didn’t just casually watch the U.S. Open, she got all dolled up in her flowing white finery (with matching sneakers) and analyzed the action intently for the entire two weeks of the tournament. Coincidentally, we spent a lot of time at your house during that time period, even though none of us gave a damn about tennis.
