Tuesday Tune: Twin Shadow’s “Golden Light”
Twin Shadow, aka George Lewis Jr., born in the Dominican Republic and bred in Florida, started his Twin Shadow project in 2006 in Brooklyn, NY. Twin Shadow’s music has been praised for its sophisticated melodies, R&B intimacy, and hazily new wave-tinged pop and was Rolling Stone’s “Band of the Week” in October 2010.
The video for “Golden Light” was released October 31, 2012. We’re digging its steel drums, ’80s electronica/rock anthem chords.
