Tuesday Tune: Hyro Da Hero’s “Sleeping Giants”

Hyro Da Hero’s debut album, Birth, School, Work, Death, is what would happen if rock and rap made pissed off, politically-minded mutant babies together. Like in a good way. Korn frontman Jonathan Davis called the enigmatic debut 2011′s “Album of the Year” in Revolver.

Loud, chaotic, and heavy on the bass, the single, “Sleeping Giants,” is a rebel yell for revolution.

Hyro Da Hero is a special artist that only comes every once in a while. He is legit, don’t let stereotypes steer you away from checking him out. “Conversation With Hip-Hop” is one of the best songs I’ve heard this year. The entire album rocks!
