What about all the films about high school geek who conquers insurmountable odds to get the hot chick! These films had some sort of activity involved ( ie. Skate boarding, dancing, pirate DJ, or karate) which gave them powers to score at the prom! AWesome DUDE!

This is just sad. call that 80s? How about late 80s enjoyed by preteens. Only punks would find that a fitting fantasy/tribute.
20-something hotties are nice but not 80s hotties by no means.
