Wal-Mart. It’s the place you go for savings as well as that Miley Cyrus-wear that you keep swearing to all your bros isn’t from Wal-Mart and isn’t “for girls.” This week, let’s take a quick look at some of the fun adventures in dancing, pranks and other low-price shenanigans that people have pulled off inside the oppressive confines of their local Wal-Mart.
The Wal-Mart Moonwalk
Short, sweet, smooth. Let’s kick things off with the oft-imitated, Michael Jackson inspired, low-price dance craze.
Dances With Shopping Carts
This video doesn’t have the views the moonwalk video has, but it has elegance and grace not usually associated with Wal-Mart or shopping carts. Oh! Look at those shopping carts! Have you ever seen a Wal-Mart shopping cart with wheels that weren’t totally screwed up? We’re not sure where they tracked them down, but these wheels are well-oiled dancing mechanisms.
Next Stop: America’s Got Talent
One wonders if America’s youth are suffering from a disturbing lack of places to show off their dance skills thus resulting in all of this in Wal-Mart groovin’.
“Sorry sir. For liken big butts.”
A couple of fat kids take their love of Six Mix-A-Lot to the Wal-Mart intercom.
Remember Cassette Tapes?
A collection of some high schoolers living up to stereotypes by misbehaving in Wal-Mart. Look for their use of a cassette player for an idea of just how long Wal-Mart “prankin’” has been a teenage right of passage somewhere up there with losing your virginity and failing out of college your first semester.
Interviews with a Wal-Mart Employee
There’s some good perspective in here about employment at Wal-Mart. This is provided as a public service.
Your Own Wal-Mart Soundtrack
Look, you’re probably already half way to your nearest Wal-Mart store with your flip cam ready to create some fresh prank or stupid-ass dance craze with your fresh video, but if you are still stuck in your chair, maybe you just needed a hot rap jam set to and inspired by pictures from PeopleofWalMart.com.
