Hi, I’m Adam Tod Brown. I’m the managing editor here at The Smoking Jacket. If you don’t know what that means, just know that I have the exact same job title as Brian Williams on NBC Nightly News. What we do is similar in that nobody really cares until there are boobs on the screen.

Getting off track though. My point is, I have a pretty sweet job, and one of the reasons I have that job is because, back when I was still processing medical claims for a living, Cracked.com agreed to pay me money to write for them. It was the first time I had ever been paid to write anything, and eventually, it led to me working for Playboy. PLAYBOY!

Given that back story that you probably skipped in favor of just watching the video posted below, it fills me with limitless joy to tell you that my former boss, current Cracked.com editor David Wong, wrote a book. That book, John Dies at the End, became super popular on the Internet. And then it became pretty popular with people who still kill trees to read. And then, as if that wasn’t enough, someone decided to make it into a movie. A movie that has Paul Giamatti in it, no less!
