Jimmy Fallon and Bruce Springsteen Cover Willow Smith

To celebrate the release of Bruce Springsteen’s highly anticipated box set, The Promise: The Darkness on the Edge of Town Story, Jimmy Fallon dedicated the entire hour of last night’s show to one guest, the man himself, Bruce Springsteen.

You can check out the full episode here, which is packed with great interviews and stories from Springsteen. We picked out the video above to post here because, well, it’s damn hilarious. Jimmy Fallon straps on his finest Neil Young getup and cranks out a tender, heartfelt acoustic cover of “Whip My Hair” by Willow Smith. About halfway through, he’s joined by The Boss, who looks like he just emerged from 1976 to join in. Words can’t do justice to how hilarious this performance is. You’ll just have to check it out for yourself.

If you liked that, you should also check out our recent feature, “Five People Who Seem a Lot Less Impressive Thanks to Willow Smith.” We don’t make fun of Justin Bieber that often, but when we do, we make it count.
